Call To Schedule Your Free Implant Consultation

Dental pain always seems to strike at the worst possible time. Here’s how to stay calm, protect your tooth, and get help fast.
Call us if you have severe pain, swelling, trauma, a knocked-out tooth, uncontrolled bleeding, or signs of infection (fever, facial swelling, bad taste). When in doubt, call—our team will help you triage and schedule urgent care the same day whenever possible. (See Emergency Dentistry.)
Save any fragments in milk or saliva and bring them with you. Cover sharp edges with dental wax or sugar-free gum if needed. Even painless chips can expose dentin and invite sensitivity—quick repair protects the tooth.
Time is critical. Keep the tooth moist. If it’s a permanent tooth and clean, gently place it back into the socket by the crown (never the root). Otherwise, store it in a tooth preservation kit, milk, or your cheek and head to our office immediately.
Clean the area and use temporary dental cement from a pharmacy if available. Avoid chewing on that side and schedule an urgent visit to re-cement or replace the restoration.
Infections can spread and become serious. Don’t ignore facial swelling, fever, or throbbing pain—call us right away. Antibiotics alone are rarely the final answer; definitive treatment (such as drainage, root canal therapy, or extraction) is often needed to resolve the source.
We prioritize emergencies with prompt diagnostics (limited X-rays as needed) and clear explanations. Our goals: relieve pain, stabilize the tooth, and plan definitive care. If you’re anxious, ask about comfort options—we’ll walk you through every step.
If you’re in pain now, call (727) 999-6063 for Emergency Dentistry at The Dental Boutique Trinity. We’re here to help you feel better—fast.
